A. David Lynd is the President and CEO of LYND, a multifaceted real estate firm based in San Antonio, TX. Throughout his almost 30-year career, David has secured and deployed capital for approximately $4B of commercial real estate transactions, including multifamily, office, and hospitality assets. Among these were several best-in-class high-rises:
EnV Chicago: a 29-story high-rise in Chicago’s River North neighborhood; awarded High-rise of the Year by MFE; set Chicago’s sales record at time of disposition.
NINE at Mary Brickell Village: a 34-story condominium conversion in Miami’s vibrant Brickell neighborhood. Challenging site that involved air rights and construction over an already-existing Publix Super Market and LA Fitness.
John Hancock Center: acquired almost 1MM square feet of office and a 700-car parking deck of the famous Chicago tower.
Having a truly creative and opportunistic mindset, David constantly sees opportunities where others don’t. He has sponsored pioneering Wavefront musical festivals and lead the acquisition and extensive renovation of the historic St. Anthony hotel in San Antonio.
David continually strives to give back to his community through philanthropic endeavors and charitable contributions. He is a co-founder of Taste of the Northside, a fundraiser for San Antonio’s Brighton Center, was bestowed the ‘Hero Among Us’ award by Catholic Charities, and he has chaired actress Eva Longoria’s fundraisers.
