The saying “we might be through with the past, but the past is never through with us” has resonated with all of us at some point in our lives. Drew Caiden's Strawberry Daiquiri explores the realms of relationships and ambiguity as seen through the eyes of a man who has come to re-enter the life of a “woman” he once loved seven years ago. What ensues is a kaleidoscope journey through gender identity, confusion, manipulation and the fact that what we appear to be, is not always what we truly are.
