"A seamless fusion of hip-hop, world, reggae, grassroots jazz, & soul into a natural mold, which speaks to your soul all while making you move. The vocalists don’t come off as emcees & song-stresses, but as ancient scribes men dropping poetic gems of truth with the care of village elders. The music and instrumentation unifies the cultures of many. The Pharm represents a movement towards a musical utopia. Recommended." –Mr. Ed; WaxPoetics

Audiopharmacy is spreading their message of consciousness and unity across the globe. The “Spare Change” tour is backed up by their newly released album, “Spare Change,” their recently dropped clothing line, “Shishin Apparel,” and their new vinyl e.p. / music video, “Prophecies.” Audiopharmacy’s performance and sound is refreshingly unique.
Audiopharmacy’s live set is nourished with congas, Spanish and Middle Eastern style guitar, dubbish fretless basslines, turntablism, electronic and live drum kit as well as other percussions, flute, sax, melodica, ruan, two conscious MC’s, one MC/soul singer, a Brasilian songstress (female vocalist), and live acrylic artists as well. The energy ranges from hype hip hop tracks through Latin samba vibes, dubbish/roots/reggae, to downtempo Portishead type sounds as well.
A typical tour consists of the 7 piece band, a reggae/dancehall/hip hop dj, a funk/soul/hip hop dj, and two to four live painters. With Audiopharmacy, dj Stepwise (APP San Francisco/Angel Magic/Holding Firm.) spins roots/reggae/dancehall/hip hop. Dj-“Offerings” also is in the crew, spinning mainly funk/soul/hip hop/and reggae. Both spin before/after the live sets hyping up the crowd and keeping the vibes proper. Niceone and Dee Jae Pa’este throw down acrylic paint live on stage with the band creating solid productions by the end of each set. The movement is strong.
